Chiptune Marching Band is a project which grew out of the Digital Media research group at Newcastle University’s Culture Lab.  One of this group’s interests is in moving electronic art into new environments and contexts, often through alternative energy and urban energy siphoning strategies.

Chiptune Marching Band was created by Jo Kazuhiro and Jamie Allen and was developed at Newcastle University’s Culture Lab with the Digital Media program students and staff, with support from other partners (below).
